Disc Cutters
Stellram's Posidisc® cutters are ideal for slotting and many face milling operations. Cutter bodies are neutral allowing full-side, half-side and face cutting. The cartridges offer a width adjustment with an efficient clamping system, which works in the same direction as the cutting force. Two key drive positions allow multiple bodies to be staggered on an arbor for simultaneous slotting. Posicut® milling inserts are used in these cutters for the toughness, which is needed to handle the shocks encountered upon entry and exit.
